Type 1 Recording Services

Joe Juliano acts as both Producer and Engineer for the project. This is a very collaborative process where the artist and producer work together to make creative decisions throughout the project.
The Production Process
- Writing/Composition: writing lyrics and music
- Demo: it is often beneficial to create a simple demo of the song before recording the final arrangement.
- Arrangement: defining the instruments that will be used for the song and their respective parts within the song. Much of this will be determined during the demo process but will also often occur to a lesser degree during final tracking.
- Recording: see below
- Mixing: see below
- Mastering: see below
- Release: once the song is mastered, it is submitted to a distribution company to be uploaded to streaming services
Work with Joe Juliano to create a song from the ground up
- Artists can come in and we will work together to write a song and bring it through the production process listed above
- Artists can come in with a song they’ve written but need music or arrangement. Once that is completed, the rest of the production process continues

We are equipped to track just about anything you need for your project
You can use any of our gear listed on the Gear page or bring your own
You can track together live or build the track one instrument at a time

Price: $35 per hour. First two revisions are free. Beyond two, additional revisions are $35 per hour
We can mix projects that you record here or elsewhere
The mix process involves a discussion about your vision and desired sound of your project. This involves sending us reference tracks of songs that are similar to the sound you want to achieve. The goal is to communicate your vision of your project effectively so that the mix will reflect what you want to hear as well as reduce the need for major revisions.
You are welcome to use us for mastering or outsource your mix to a mastering engineer. Mastering is done here through iZotope Ozone for final polishing and matching to the loudness standards of your intended platform (streaming or CD)

Joe Juliano is a world-class professional guitarist well-versed in many genres and will provide any kind of guitar parts that are needed for your project
