Academic Projects
Sound Design Movie Project
At Stevens Institute of Technology, I took a course on sound design and our final project was to take a 7 minute clip of a movie, remove the audio, and create our own sounds and music. I had to create all the sound effects, ambiences, dialogue, and compose an original score for the video. For the dialogue, I learned how to do Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) where the voice actors had to watch the film and match the lip sync as closely as possible while still giving a proper performance. I recorded every sound effect that is heard in the video by either recreating the onscreen actions or by using Foley techniques. In addition, the audio for this project was edited and mixed by me. This project was completed throughout 7 weeks of work. The project received high praise and was chosen to be the video that the Music and Technology department would show to incoming students.
Sound Design Commercial Project
This was my first project in the sound design course I took at Stevens. This project was for a 30 second commercial and the same criteria as the above project was required.
Music Projects
This SoundCloud profile contains many of the music projects that I created for various courses throughout my years at Stevens Institute of Technology.
